The Romans in Scotland
One of our speaker’s principal interests is the Roman conquest of southern Scotland, areas of native resistance and the Antonine Wall as an example of a Roman frontier. This talk promises to be an enthralling and entertaining tour of sites in and around Stirlingshire, both north and south, by a leading scholar of the period.
Speaker
Dr Rebecca Jones (National Museums Scotland)
Dr Jones is co-Chair of the International Congress of Roman Frontier Studies.
