SUMMARY:Archaeological Sites in King's Park
DESCRIPTION:Primarily known as a former Royal Park\, there is evidence for
earlier and later periods still to be seen from the perimeter of the golf
course: a bronze age cairn\, a cup and ring marked stone\, an iron age hom
 estead\, a reservoir\, a shepherd's house and a 19th century track for hor
se racing. If the weather is fine we can see all these while enjoying a le
isurely walk on a mostly flat path.
LOCATION:Castleview Park & Ride (meeting point)\\, FK9 4TW\, M9 Junction 10
